We are unable to find a light kit in stock that has a blue wire that is used during installation. Could you please let us know the part number of the kit you purchased and are installing?

We currently only sell these for the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK. Please check with your vehicle dealership to see if they offer a black out kit for your emblems.
